Mike Noriega is a Miami-born native entrepreneur, author & spirited communicator. During the colossal devastation of the largest non-hurricane related emergency response in Florida’s history, Noriega became a highly publicized voice of faith and inspiration. Through his journey with loss following the aftermath of the Surfside condo collapse, he’s emerged as an established christian author, thought leader, and motivational christian speaker.

On June 24, 2021, the Champlain Towers South condo building in a small Miami town, partially collapsed in the middle of the night. His beloved grandmother, Hilda “Kima” Noriega was one of 98 lives lost in the third-deadliest structural failure in U.S. history, known as the Surfside Condo Collapse. In the aftermath of this heart-wrenching incident, Mike was thrust into a position he never expected.

He was appointed as the designated spokesperson for his father, the former Miami Beach Chief of Police & current Chief of Police of North Bay Village PD, Carlos Noriega.

In the face of unimaginable loss, Mike has been an entrusted voice for his family, his grandmother, and a broken community by communicating their experiences, struggles, and unwavering faith.
